Mr. Ross has been with Wainwright and its predecessor firm since 1996 and has over 50 years of experience in the investment management and investment banking industries. He works with institutional and private clients both on a consulting basis and on a discretionary basis. Prior to Wainwright, Mr. Ross was a senior vice president and regional manager for the Investment Management and Trust Division with Fleet Financial Group. For almost 20 years before that, he was a member of the Corporate Finance Departments of First Boston Corporation and Smith Barney, where he was a Managing Director.
Mr. Ross holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a trustee emeritus and the former chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Newport Preservation Society, RI, and is Chairman of their Investment Committee. He is a former board member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, where he served on the Investment Committee, and a former trustee of Bryant University, where he was Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Ross holds the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
